Children's Therapy
Your 7-year-old can't name what's wrong, but the meltdowns are getting bigger and bedtime has become a battle. We find the words together, through play, art and games.
Teen Therapy
Your 14-year-old says they're fine. You don't believe them. A space that isn't your kitchen table and isn't school, where they can actually be heard.
Young Adult Therapy
Graduated but stuck. The friends you had at 19 aren't around the way they used to be, and what comes next isn't clear yet. Let's figure out what's underneath.
Parent & Caregiver Counselling
Kids don't come with a manual. When your child is too young or not yet ready for virtual therapy, parent counselling is often the starting point. I'll help you navigate it.

How It Works
Simple, step-by-step
-
01
Send a message
Fill in the contact form with the client's name, age and what's bringing you in. That's all I need to start.
-
02
Free 15-min phone consult
A short phone call to talk through what's going on and whether we're the right fit, no pressure either way.
-
03
Intake session (60 min)
I'll send a quick intake form to complete, then our first session to gather history and set goals.
-
04
Ongoing sessions (50 min)
Sessions are booked at a frequency that meets you where you are at, and will be discussed at the intake session.
Treatment Approach
Every client is different.
One of my philosophies about therapy is that every client is different, and they all have different needs. I work from an integrative approach, meaning I start with a foundational treatment modality and pull from other models of therapy that best fit the needs of my client.
We look at thought patterns that aren't serving you and build ones that do.
Tools for moments when emotions feel too big to manage.
Building psychological flexibility and values-based action in the face of hard feelings.
A goal-oriented approach focused on practical next steps.
You are the expert on your own life, and sessions are shaped around that.
Part of how I approach therapy is empowering my clients to better understand themselves, and why their brains or bodies react or respond the way they do. The mind and body are connected, and while focusing on the problem area is important, working from a holistic approach and looking at the bigger picture is most helpful to create change.
When working with children and teens, I incorporate play, games, interactive activities and art into sessions, giving them space to explore, communicate and express themselves.
Honest Note
When I might not be the right fit
Every therapist has their lane. I work best with children, teens and young adults (ages 4 to 29) and their families. If you're outside that age range, in an immediate crisis, or looking for in-person care, psychiatric assessment or medication management, I'm not the right fit, and I'll help you find someone who is.
Fees & Insurance
Simple, transparent pricing
Session fees
- Free consultation (15 min)No charge
- Intake session (60 min)$150 CAD
- Ongoing session (50 min)$150 CAD
Payment is processed automatically at the end of each session via the credit card on file. A receipt is emailed for your records.
Ongoing (50-minute) parent sessions are available when your child is a current client. Otherwise, new parent sessions are booked as 60-minute intakes, with 50-minute ongoing sessions.
Insurance coverage
OHIP does not cover psychotherapy services. Many private and workplace benefit plans do cover sessions with a Registered Psychotherapist, so it's worth checking your plan before starting. Receipts are provided after every session and include my CRPO registration number for insurance submission.
Cancellation policy
Please give at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations or no-shows are charged 50% of the session fee. If I ever need to cancel, you're not charged.
Common Questions
Before you book
What's the difference between the intake and ongoing sessions?
The intake is 60 minutes and focuses on getting to know each other, reviewing relevant background, and setting goals. Ongoing sessions are 50 minutes and focus on the work itself. Both are $150 CAD.
Can I start with parent counselling and add my child later?
Yes. It's one of the more common paths, especially for younger children who aren't quite ready for virtual therapy, or for teens who need time to warm up to the idea. Start where you are, and fold your child in when they're ready.
What do I need for a virtual session?
A private, quiet space where you can speak freely, a stable internet connection, and a device with a working camera and microphone. Headphones are recommended for privacy. A secure video link is sent before each session.
Do sessions need to be at the same time each week?
Not necessarily. A consistent weekly or bi-weekly slot tends to build the most momentum, but timing can flex around school, work, or life. Standing appointments are set at intake.
